Check out our luxurious alpaca yarn and rovings for your crafting delights! The alpacas are raised on our farm and the fibre is processed at our favorite small Canadian mill, Wellington Fibres. All of our yarn is 100% Alpaca except for the boucle which is a blend of 75% Alpaca and 25% wool from Canadian sheep. It is all processed using eco-friendly techniques. No harsh chemicals are used in the cleaning of the fibres. When dyed the fibre is hand-dyed using weak acid dyes. This means there is natural depth to the colour, due to the slight variations in the fibre. Our palette of colours is rich and complex--not just red but Oxblood or brick red or cherry. We have a range of yarn sizes to suit each individual need.
